Китаєзнавчі дослідження

The annual compendium of scientific papers "Chinese Studies" welcomes articles in Ukrainian, Russian, English and Chinese for publication in the first issue of 2015. People interested in publishing are welcome to submit articles by April 30, 2015 on e-mail: info@sinologist.com.ua or postal address: 01001, Ukraine, Kyiv, str. Hrushevskoho 4, A.Krymsky Institute of Oriental Studies, National Academy of Sciences, Ukraine, room 200, Ukrainian Association of Sinologists.

For successful acceptance by the members of the editorial board and further publishing in the prepared edition the article must be written in appliance with the following requirements:

The articles printed with a double-space on standard A4 on white paper must be submitted in one copy. Materials must be accompanied by an electronic copy in a MS Word document with the extension *. rtf and *. doc. Manuscripts are reviewed anonymously and will not be returned.

The paper should not exceed 1.5 pp The article is accompanied by an abstract in English of 200-500 words (5-6 sentences, the translation of the article title, names and initials of author is required).
A separate page contains a title, full name, patronymic and surname, degree, rank, position, company name where author works as well as a contact address, telephone numbers, e-mail.
Tables and pictures should be clear and large enough that they can be read after reduction by 50%.
 

Requirements to illustrations:
 

1. Every picture on the back must be signed "to the article - title" (if sent to the postal address)
2. Raster format illustration - *. tif (300 dpi)
3. Vector format illustration - *. ai, *. eps
4. All graphic files submitted separately from the text on a separate media (CD, floppy)
5. The size of illustrations should not exceed the width of the type page - 145 mm.
Nota bene! Color pictures are not used. Print is black and white only.
 

Requirements for the tables:
 

1. Submitted in text format *. doc (*. rtf) as separate files.
2. Width should not exceed 145 mm.

 

References are given in the text. In brackets the author's name, year of publication (no comma in front of it) and, if necessary, page [Rybalkin 1993, 66] are supplied. Initials after author's name are mentioned only when the article refers to several authors with the same name. If links to several articles are located in one place, they must be presented in chronological order and separated by semicolons. Text links must be given at the end of the article before the Reference list.

List of cited sources must be in alphabetical order at the end of the article and titled as REFERENCES. It has to be typed indented with two intervals. The titles of cited sources must be composed according to the following example:

Transliteration of foreign words must be performed with the Latin alphabet and the corresponding diacritic. Proper names and titles can be written with the letters of English alphabet based on traditional writing.

Every author who published an article has a write to get one copy of the journal. Special copies are not provided.

Articles that do not have an electronic version in a format compatible with MS Word, submitted without compliance of the above mentioned requirements, not accompanied by an abstract in English and information about the author or received after 11/30/2013 will not be considered by Editorial Board. The results of the selection will be announced separately.
